Highlighted terms:
    This text offers highlighted terms in each section of each chapter. When the term is highlighted, it is a vocabulary word the the students need to know. Following the term, the book gives the definition of it. The book then offers examples in which students can use the new term that they have learned.

The headings in the text explain what the students will be learning about in the given section of the chapter. The headings help to organize the text and focus the lesson. Headings help students to be able to more easily find information in the text because the headings are what is in the Table of Contents at the beginning of the book.

This text offers charts that help the students with solving example problems as well as regular problems. They are located directly next to the problem that they correlate with and help students to visualize data.

This text gives problems after the examples so that students can check their understanding. . It is beneficial for students because they can check their knowledge before starting their homework or practice problems.

The text has little icons that tell you where you can get more information on the topic being studied. For students who may not understand when the teacher goes over the material, seeing more examples may be able to help them learn it better. There is also a small part that tells you where you can find another example in the book.

This book has connections between the learning and both the real world and other subjects they are studying. This is beneficial for students because they can see how they can use what they are learning in their life.
